Peter is Homeros' Non-Executive Chairman. He is a television personality who is seen at CNBC's Fast Money and The Halftime Report, as well as in various sports and news channels like ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, ESPN, and more. He is a highly successful entrepreneur who co-founded MarketRebellion.com, a financial education and newsletter services firm. Nicknamed the "Pit Boss", he is recognized as an expert trader, ranked one of the top 100 by Trader Monthly magazine.
Prior to his TV and business career, Pete was a professional football player, previously playing for NFL teams Minnesota Vikings and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After his football career, Pete tried options trading with his brother Jon at Mercury Trading, a market-making company that is registered at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). The brothers' venture proved highly profitable, allowing them to pursue a joint venture with M.J. Meehan at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and ultimately sell Mercury Trading to hedge fund giant Citadel. At the same time, he became head of the Exemption Committee of the CBOE for about 3 years.
Pete is also a published writer who co-authored books such as Follow the Smart Money, The 22 Rules of Investing, and How We Trade Options. He was also active in other media, hosting his own sports radio talk show named Stocks 'N Jocks on 670 "The Score" in Chicago, IL.
